baving in hot oil the gremlin choked and scrunched his face up as to intimidate me, i spat in his face and carried on checking he was going to die. This disgusting creature is fucking futile i said having been very happy that these could be killed. horrible little alien creatures were infecting our world. i am fighting them off, one by one. we'd been under attack for for too long and I was leading the war against war on these little cunts. I wanted to cause as much harm as possible to there whole family, this was the simplest way of doing that.
Little fucking rat bag I shouted and poured the gooey, melting vomit and human excrament all over this wholling ball of bones. I dragged his carcass out and whipped it. The fucking thing bled as i ripped it open and opened up his cavity like a car boot.
I poured shit all over these kids, they all fucking deserve it. I had chained them down by there feat and hands so they had no escape. As i began punishing and destroying these delinquents I grinded left over bones beneath my feat and dissolved them into a putrid mix of dead and alive things. see, we all tried to leave and do something else but our time had come. I wondered round for days endlessly researching how to. I battled myself but then realised I would battle the evil that has inhabited this land.
The evil knew know end. They were barbaric and miserable lifeforms. they had teeth the size of nails and they claws with sharp daggers on. I wanted them all dead.

stuck in comformity, the bridge nailed the coffin shut
Holy viscous trembles are heard for miles, the stampede is huge and unrelenting. Its noise could suffocate a wild boar in its sleep and its deadly terrifying laughter heard over 1000's of miles. I shudder quickly and speak to myself in an unheard whisper 'how the hell am i going to get out of here, im fucking trapped in'. I hurl myself over and twist in the air. For a moment Im stuck and paralyzed in conflicting thought. I shout 'quickly, over here' and dash to a near by coffee suspenser to take shelter from the violent gunfire.
'will you please tell me what the fuck is going on here?' i asked the disgusting, half layered in skin and melting fat corpse lied next to me. It shrugged and said, 'you are the ball licker'. I explained how I would fucking destroy all his pathetic people and crush there civilization until it was nothing left. I laughed in his face and continued crawling on the floor. rocks crashed around me, explosions and fire were all around.
To describe where I was would be tricky. I was neither here nor there but in some alien dimension plotted against by all the rulers that have ever been. The quick burst of electricity that plagued me seeped through my slipping finer nails and scurried out of me like nothing Ive ever felt before. Where was I going, what was I doing and who the hell was after me? I had been searched for for years it felt like but in this 'reality' it could be a dozen lightyears. Your mind plays tricks on you in these places. Im confused I shouted as I entered and knelt before our gods holy chapel and witnessed a vast display of lights and fairies fluttering from the walls and windows. I shutdown my memory star and broke into agony. I had failed my master.

the devil wears prada

http://forcefullyattached.wordpress.com/category/uncategorized/
This creation in the centre has a tormented feel to it and i like the trees posture and sprung out feel, the spikes point out in a frazzled way. I like the line detail in tree and the image composition, looking up at this tree from below gives it a controlling quality.

I really like the top title font on this, it has a certain sophistication, passion and epic quality about it. It reminds me of war time I think because of the large W reminds me of the W's when writing ww1 ww2 world wars one and two. The P is also like a dagger. The atmospheric landscape behind has a classical painting texture and colour which has a subtle wartime feel to it, like misty landscapes I've seen in classical war time paintings. Here is a classical war painting I have to compare it with. I think the artist may have been inspired by this kind of atmosphere building and in so adding deep colours that are not necessarily their but create mood and show the passion in war.
Below: Look at the sky in both pictures, both have a large use of colours.

I like the detail and soft colours in this and all the black lines that break it all up gives it a real bold and detailed feel. I think all the vegetation/slime is ambiguous and although we are not sure what we are looking at its the general impression that gives it its crawling in your face look. The abundance of the this jungle and lines has a real energy and the colours and flowing lines and objects make it pleasing to look at; all of the objects are similar shapes and merge into eachother which makes the picture come together as one piece of art and emphasises the central band title. The font has a ancient and dearing quality, it kind of leaves you intrigued by the band because of its slight childlike/pirate edge - its as though its been inscribed on a treasure map.

anata

Here we have the cover for Anata's album, 'The conductors departure'. I love all the lines and detail within this epic central image which we focus on. Aesthetically all the vertical lines towards the bottom are very pleasing and frightening because of their points and the abundant of these crucifix shaped sticks. Above is like a storm or twister tangle of these lines swirling around which have an alive feel about how they balance, quite supernatural. I like the colour theme and the fact that its not over the top pays more attention to the detail within this image which is important.

This looks quite satanic and hellish and the fact that the font is hard to read describes the music, reckless. I like the intertwining of the text, its interesting and gives it an alive feel.

Dan Seagrave is an artist who predominantly makes art for heavy metal and death metal album covers.

This tells a story of a mystical cave with a temple built into its sides. Tales from the tomb goes with cover, however i dont think the imagery is very engaging or powerful, the colours are dull and theirs no where to really focus or a symmetrical image.
Theirs not much happening in this cover and I dont think it speaks volumes for the band or some's them up visually.

victims cover.
I like this main image of a man standing with his hands open. All the colours are quite similar and washy or faded. This gives an old feel like this was made on old paper.
This man is like a slave, which goes with the title, victims. I like his coat and the way it flows and drapes down and as if he's almost floating, its slightly ghost like.
I love how the material weaves down. I think the font lacks bight and the whole image in general is slightly dull  and empty towards the top. I think there should be more visual information, like the spiral image behind him could be better and stronger.
Also I don't think the wispy clouds go with the detailed surroundings at the bottom of the image.
I love the man though because of the dark lines and the texture of his hands.

I love the scratchy and black and white effect created in this album, im addicted to just lines and black and white especially with the build-up of decapitated figures and characters on the right hand side. The album is called 'fulfil the curse' and on the right you can clearly hooded skeleton men summoning this curse within his hands at the bottom. The story this artwork is trying to tell is that this lady who's bound to the post is the main victim of this curse and that the figures on the right have cursed her and she is going to be sacrificed to all the demons.

Mia Mikila uses a collage effect to make his paintings. They look like old paintings with political, provoking and horrifying images and settings added on top. There seems to be a lot going on in his work, i like the collage effect me makes by mixing his images and this cut-up and spontaneous setting and feeling he creates.

this is quite a symmetrical cover. i like the image and the computerised, space age font. the image is like a machine.

ancient cave art. these are animals

This depicts a battle scene in history. I'm not sure what materials were used or what era its from but I like the detail and the perspective. Theres horses and people with weapons.

Research

I'm going to research early art and art forms and discover what were the themes and what the driving forces of ancient art.

brasil - pencil/paper - 2010
This is similar to a spider web or a snow flake.

This has flowers and interconnecting shapes. I like the symmetry and the cleanness of the lines and shapes and the difference between the black filled in bits and the open window bits.

This is quite futuristic, i like the big blue stars and how the red ones lay on top.

Wednesday 13 April 2011

I really like the colours used in this album cover, the different subtle shades of red and purple are pleasing and give a sense of fog and baron land with no vegitation. The image is quite simple but the baron landscape and monster-like spikey mountains give an impression of an apocalyptic world over run by inhuman lifeforms.

this is a part human mixed with machine, implying humans are being tortured or controlled by machine or are a hybrid of both. i like the dusty colours used and how the machinery is made. The font is is whispy spikes and gives an impression of danger or scaryness.
